A Game of Poker

Sometimes, life really is just but a game of poker. Common things in life and poker- in both, losing and winning doesn't really matter instead it is how you played the game that counts. Of course, you will need a bit of luck here and there. But you see, everyone has a fair chance of that luck which makes it very interesting. You have to know when to fold, when to check and when to call or even raise. You have many choices in every game, you may choose to play safe and fold but you cannot play safe forever. You can choose to check, you'd be lucky if everyone chooses to check just like you did, but if they don't, you still have to make a decision, to fold or call. We can also choose to call and even raise with the right cards, this time we choose to take a risk. A risk because you are never sure that you are going to win, it would still depend on the combinations of the other 5 cards. In poker, just like in life, you may lose even when played the game right. You may even lose, given the right cards.
In life, we'd never know what the future holds. All we really know are the information available to us right now, just like the 2 cards in the poker. It is up to us how we are going to make use of that information and how we want to play the game. There is no guarantee of winning. Not all rich people wins in the game of life. Not all poor loses. Not all smart people wins, sometimes it is the ignorant that makes the most out of life.
Life is jut a game where we play it in our own special way. There are rules, there are players, there is risk and there is luck. So really, it doesn't matter if you think you became the most successful man in the whole world, or if you invented the light bulb or the plane. Because at the end, you are still to evaluate how you lived your life... happily? contended? or sad? and disappointed? Would you say "i should've took that risk.. maybe..." or would we think "what if i bluffed my way out.. ?"
"Life isn't really about winning or losing, rather it's about how the game was played, how life was lived."

You never know what the heck you'll get until you actually get it. A certainty in uncertainty?
